Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Former President of the Republic of Mauritius, attended and addressed the Imo State Economic Summit held from 4\u20135 December 2025 in Nigeria. The high-level summit was officially opened by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and convened an exceptional gathering of global leaders and policymakers. Distinguished participants included H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of Liberia, Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson, Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and H.E.
