H.E. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, The Former President of Mauritius, Addresses High-Level IMO State Economic Summit in Nigeria

H.E. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Former President of the Republic of Mauritius, attended and addressed the Imo State Economic Summit held from 4–5 December 2025 in Nigeria. The high-level summit was officially opened by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and convened an exceptional gathering of global leaders and policymakers. Distinguished participants included H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of Liberia, Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson, Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and H.E. Ban Ki-moon, Former Secretary-General of the United Nations, alongside senior government officials and international stakeholders.
